Scholarship Opportunities

We know that Club Volleyball can be expensive and many need assistance to be able to afford their participation.  Others are encouraged to benefit the Club and their fellow teammates by fundraising.  There are several different ways to assist our players in achieving their goals:

Raise Funds for Player Account

You can ask friends, family members or others within your community to support you, as a player, in funding your Club dues.  Download our Individual Sponsorship form so that you, or your sponsor, can direct contributions to your account.  Donations to a specific individual may not be tax deductible to the donor, but can contribute in a positive way to meet your goals.

Raise Funds for Scholarship Program

You can ask the same friends, family members or others within your community to support the CC Fusion Scholarship fund, which is a tax deductible donation to the Club.  Download our Club Sponsorship Letter when seeking funds from an individual. We have an exciting new  Corporate Sponsorship Program!  Visit our sponsorship page for info that may be provided to any companies you think may be interested.

Apply for Clark County Fusion VBC Athletic Scholarship

You can seek a Scholarship with the Club to assist you in covering Club dues.  Fill out our online Scholarship Application which includes the conditions under which you may apply and be evaluated.  The maximum award this year is dependant on individual need and funds available. The deadline to apply is February 1 of each season, or until the Scholarship funds are depleted.

CEVA Memorial & #Volleythechange Scholarships

You may also seek a Scholarship through the CEVA Memorial & #Volleythechange Scholarship Funds! The memorial fund honors CEVA members who have made a significant contribution to the sport of volleyball and provides scholarships to student-athletes who have a significant financial need. #VolleyTheChange Scholarship aims to help players of color, players from an ethnic minority, and players who identify as members of the LGBTQ community.  This scholarship is also intended to remove barriers to entry for players who have a chronic medical condition, mental health condition, and/or learning or physical disability.

Fundraising Opportunities

There will be numerous fundraising events throughout the year to assist in building up our Scholarship account so funds are available for those who request them and qualify.  Fundraising for the Club is part of being a Scholarship applicant, and fundraising by all players helps with the general well-being of the Club and your teammates.  Fan Gear sales, picture sales and other fundraisers offered throughout the year are a big way to support your Club. For more info on this seasons fundraisers or to get involved, contact our Fundraising Committee or visit our Fundraising page.
